Walk through Living History Day in the Park May 10, 2025 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Join the 2nd USCT and friends at the Speed Spencer Stephens Park for a step back in time. Reenactors representing the history of the Civil War and other eras will engage guests in living history demonstrations. A fun day of performances, arts and crafts, games and vendors.
Emancipation and abolitionist ball May 17, 2025 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM
The 2nd USCT will host family and friends at its annual fundraiser at Tallahassee State College Ball Room. Guest will enjoy the annual feast and dance the night away with the 2nd USCT Dance Ensemble. In a special awards ceremony, the Althamese Barnes Service Award and the Samuel L. Tucker Scholarship will be presented.

Riley Center/Museum Graveside Ceremony May 20, 2025 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
The 2nd USCT partners with the John G Riley Center/Musuem to honor soldiers buried in the Old City Cemetary located on the corner of MLK Boulevard and Park Avenue. The ceremony features a gun salute, the decorating of graves and the playing of “Taps.”
